Origin & Winemaking

Châteauneuf-du-Pape AOC, Southern Rhône, France. The grapes are grown in the heart of the Domaine on deep clayey-sand soils with scree pebbles. The estate presses the grapes as whole bunches, then ferments the wine partly in concrete eggs and partly in 600L demi-muids, with bâtonnage on lees.

Ageing

Aged for 9 months in concrete eggs, demi-muids and wine globes to preserve freshness and develop its aromatic expression.

Food Pairing

Excellent with premium seafood and dishes with natural richness: lobster, scallops, crab, grilled fish, prawns, clams, oysters and caviar.

Serving Suggestion

Serve lightly chilled at around 10–12°C. Give the wine a little time in the glass to open and show its full aromatic profile.
