Le Grappin's 2022 Savigny-lès-Beaune Rouge “Aux Fournaux” comes from a 60-year-old Pinot Noir parcel in one of Savigny-lès-Beaune's distinctive village sites. The vineyard sits at the base of the slope, where good light exposure and drainage help produce a wine with fine definition, freshness and weight. “Aux Fournaux” lies near the junction with Pernand-Vergelesses and Aloxe-Corton, giving the wine a sense of place within the Côte de Beaune.

About Le Grappin

Founded in Burgundy by Andrew and Emma Nielsen, Le Grappin focuses on site-driven wines from carefully selected parcels. The 2022 “Aux Fournaux” was hand-harvested and sorted before native fermentation, then matured in 350L barrels. The wine was bottled without fining or filtration, preserving a detailed and transparent expression of the vineyard.

How to Enjoy

Serve lightly chilled at around 14–16°C and give the wine time to open in the glass. It is particularly enjoyable with roast poultry, duck, mushrooms and savoury dishes, while its freshness and structure also make it a natural partner for richer seafood such as grilled salmon, tuna or meaty fish.
