Live Babylonia

Product Description: Prized for their distinct, beautiful shells and delectable meat, our live Babylonia Snails offer a unique seafood experience. They are known for their sweet, mildly briny flavour and a tender texture that makes them a versatile addition to many dishes, from soups and stir-fries to prepared sushi.

• Stir-Frying: Quickly sauté with garlic, ginger, and chili for a spicy, flavourful dish.

• Sushi & Sashimi: Lightly blanch the meat for 1-2 minutes, then chill. Slice and serve as a unique topping for sushi or in a sashimi platter.

Upon arrival, store live snails in the refrigerator (0–4°C) in a bowl covered with a damp cloth to keep them cool and moist. Before cooking, clean the shells thoroughly to remove any debris.

Babylonia snails require cooking. For safety and best texture, they should not be eaten raw directly from the shell. Grilling is also not recommended as the direct heat can make the meat tough.
